What to do in NYC

  1. Visit Times Square

You can’t make it to New York City and not visit Times Square. It’s the first thing you should do when you touch down in the Big Apple, especially if it’s your first time there.

You’ve seen it in movies and TV shows, but Central Park is totally better when you experience it in person. It’s a beautiful park where you can spend hours exploring and is something everyone must do when they visit New York City.

NYC has tons of quaint and quirky neighborhoods and one that you must stroll through is the West Village. It’s in Manhattan and is a great place to get lost in with its tree-line cobblestone streets that were practically the same in the 19th century, so it’s like walking on history!

  1. Grimaldi’s Pizzeria

If you want true and authentic New York pizza, head over to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria for a slice or two. It’s right under the shadow of the famed Brooklyn Bridge and provides a great pizza and view of Manhattan. Just be ready to wait in wine for a bit!

The Empire State Building is an iconic landmark that is a must-see when you’re in the city since it’s the tallest structure in NYC that can’t be missed. You can visit the 86th-floor observation deck to get a great view with lots of pictures.

  1. Shop At Bergdorf’s

You won’t be able to shop at Bergdorf’s in any other city since there’s only one shop and that’s in NYC. Even if you can’t afford anything, it’s still fun to just browse around and dream that one day you can afford something from there.

Even if you didn’t come into the city by train, you should make your way to Grand Central Terminal to appreciate the architecture and just the hustle and bustle that makes NYC so great!
